MANILA, Philippines — As the Alaska Aces prepared for the start of the 2021 PBA season, much of the attention centered on the franchise's newest additions, Ben Adamos and Taylor Browne. The two rookie prospects represented a key part of Alaska's effort to strengthen its roster and build for the future following the conclusion of the 2021 PBA Rookie Draft.
The Aces officially signed both rookies shortly after the draft, signaling the organization's confidence in their potential. Team officials viewed the acquisitions as important investments as Alaska sought to remain competitive while developing the next generation of talent.
Leading the rookie class was Ben Adamos, the team's sixth overall pick in the 2021 PBA Rookie Draft. The 6-foot-7 big man arrived with an impressive collegiate background, having played for some of the country's respected basketball programs. Alaska management considered Adamos a crucial addition to bolster the team's frontcourt, particularly following roster changes involving veteran big men.
Joining Adamos was Taylor Browne, a Fil-Canadian guard from the University of British Columbia.
